Dear Dee, Chad, Michael, Jan, and Nick
There are just not enough words to say all the wonderful things I would say about Diane. She was a colleague but most importantly I am proud to call her my friend. You were there to support me throughout my career and changes I endured in my life. Rest in peace and remember I told you, "I will see u again!"

Diane - beautiful name for a beautiful woman, inside and out!  The world was a better place when you were in it!  We are all going to miss you dearly!  Right now ir's hard to fathom, and it will take a long time before we accept the fact that you are no longer with us.  To Dee, Chad, MIchael, Jan and Nick, we send our deepest wishes that God will bless you and give you strength and courage to go on without Diane.  We all know that she is in a very special place in heaven looking down on us and will always be our special angel!

Diane,  Though I know D better than you because pilots love to swap stories sort of like the fisherman tales.  Since I started flying before I knew my husband, Dale, he was never mentioned and King never mentioned his wife, Alva, for the same reason.  D always included you in the conversation.  It was obvious his family was the most important thing in his life.  The sun was never brighter than his wife and his boys.  We know you through D and what a gem of woman you are, so we know and love you because D!  Only present tense is being used because you are alive, well and happy by the side of Jesus.  Please Diane don't worry about all your boys the neighborhood is combining forces through prayer and our interference in their lives so your presence is always felt.  God will guide you and it is up to you to guide us, please let us know when any Roney needs help, or even if it is just a smile.  May God be with you and all of your family always.

Mrs. Roney was my teacher at EGCC.  She was more than just a teacher, but also a mentor. There was a certain aura around her that portrayed passion, compassion and love.  She always had a few sayings I still remember and use in my life; Trust your gut and never assume cause it makes an "ass of u and me." Sending love to you all.  I'll never forget her.

Diane was so many wonderful things; a wonderful woman, mother, wife, daughter, sister & educator.

She was more than a nurse...her compassion & caring were far and above what most medical professionals claim.

I was a colleague as well as friend, and Diane never forgot her friends. Even after being separated for a time, she welcomed my call with warmth and grace.

The world is a much better place because of her...............generations of nurses to come will continue to be inspired by her.....

God bless you all and know that she is looking down with that beautiful smile and feel her presence always.

Dee, Chad, Michael, Jan and Nick - God has welcomed a beautiful angel into His kingdom....and what a beautiful one at that, selfless, kind, sweet, smart, generous, the list goes on.  If Heaven is anything like the kind of person Diana was I'm all in....My prayers are with you, I know how tough this time is for you all, losing a parent, a wife, a sister, an aunt....may God's peace envelop you all and you feel her presence all around you as you celebrate her life.

Diane, I am heartbroken for everyone whose lives were touched by you.  From nursing school to the friendship that we developed over the years, I will treasure the fond memories.  I'll miss our coffee and popcorn breakfasts at Trinity East cafeteria, and our email chit chats about nothing.  Spread your wings my friend.  Heaven found a treasure!

Dee, Chad, Michael, and extended family
Diane was such a rare soul of soft spoken kindness. I came to know her through so many channels; first through our children, then through our work at EGCC, and through a mutual friend. We spent time having heart-to-hearts discussing all of those connections, Diane always offering guidance and support. I know how deeply and positively she touched so many people. I can only imagine your own sense of loss, and for that, you have my heartfelt sympathy. How blessed anyone’s life has been that was touched and loved by Diane.
Love and blessings, Monette Myers
