Raymond Fox Obituary
RAYMOND FOX, 88 of Weirton, WV passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born June 29, 1929 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late Charles and Agnes Carlock Fox. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Poland Fox (2016); brother, Wayne Fox.
Raymond was a longtime, loyal member of Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church where had been active through the years as a deacon, trustee, men's fellowship, Pairs and Spares class. Ray also served over 50 years on the board of directors of the Weirton Christian Center. He was also an accomplished woodworker. He was a 1947 Weir High School graduate. Ray retired from Weirton Steel Corp., plant protection. Ray was also a longtime plastering contractor for over 30 years.
Surviving are his daughters, Judy Hince (Michael), Carol Marino; sister, Sally Pacobit (Eddie); brother, Charles Fox (Lou); grandchildren; Adam Hince (Allyson), Jacob Hince, Jessica Walmar (Jeff), Anthony Marino (fiance Bryanna Snyder), Brian Marino, Lauren Marino (Mike Prevot); great grandchildren, Trace and Liam, and Adelyn.
Visitation will be Sunday July 9, 2017 5:00-8:00 p.m. st STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of the funeral/committal services at 11:00 a.m. at the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church, 121 Ivy Street, Weirton, WV. Pastor Holley Faulkner will preside. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
