Arthur G. Huggins

ARTHUR G. HUGGINS, 82 of Weirton, WV passed away Friday February 3, 2017 at home. He was born January 25, 1935 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late Doyle and Gertrude Pierce Huggins. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Chambers; grandchildren Emily and Jodi; great granddaughter Sophia; brother James Huggins.

Arthur was a member of the Weirton Heights Church of Christ; a US Army veteran. He retired as a mechanic in the transportation dept. of Weirton Steel Corp. He was also a union steward.

Surviving are his wife Pauline Williams Huggins; daughters, Barbara Higgs(Fred) of Edmond, OK, Sandra Cline(Perry) of Follansbee, WV, Linda Veltri(John) of Pickerington, OH, Lisa Sayre(Kirk) of Weirton, WV, Deborah Turick of Weirton, WV; son, David Huggins(Melissa) of Weirton, WV; sisters; Nancy Hill of Weirton, WV, Margaret Gardner of New Manchester, WV; brothers, Robert Huggins(Charlotte) of Toronto, OH, Frank Huggins(Rose) of Steubenville, OH; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 7, 2017 2-4 6-8 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Evangelist Steve Smithbauer will preside. Interment will folllow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
