BARBARA ANN SHIPLEY, 76, of Weirton, WV, passed Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born December 23, 1948 in Weirton, daughter of the late Duane L. and Ann E. Micklos Shipley.
Barbara was a Weir High School graduate. She proudly worked in the Benefits and Scheduling Offices of Weirton Steel Corporation from age 18 until she retired at 75.
Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle McCready (Shawn); and brother, David Shipley (Dr. Dianna).
Per Barbara’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton.
