Betty J. Brown

BETTY J. BROWN, 89 of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday February 24, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born October 4, 1928 in Kingwood, WV. The daughter of the late James B. and Effie Pearl Benson DeWitt. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Larry G. Brown, Sr. (2008); siblings Bobby, June, Ida, Marie, Thelma, Pauline, Maxine, Dorothy.

Surviving are her children, Theresa Rust (Bernard) of Columbus, OH, Larry G. Brown, Jr. (Ashley) of Weirton, WV, Jack Bara (Debbie) of Atlanta, GA, Tim Bara (Kathy) of St. Petersburg, FL, Gary Bara (Victoria) of Weirton, WV; six grandchildren including Coty Ray Brown, Lily and Layla; several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday February 27, 2018 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Kevin L. Bowers presiding. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
