Beverly A. Baker

BEVERLY A. BAKER, 71, of Follansbee, WV, formerly of Weirton, WV, passed Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee. She was born August 11, 1953 in Monroe, NC, daughter of the late Wilbert and Laura Snipes Baker. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Harold Baker.

Beverly graduated from University of South Carolina Nursing School before working as a Registered Nurse at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. She was a devout Christian woman who loved animals and sewing clothes for children.

Beverly is survived by her son, Joseph David Baker; 2 grandchildren; and brothers, David B. Baker, Michael Baker (Terri), Steven Baker (late Caroline), and Joseph Baker.

Per Beverly’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton, WV. Inurnment will take place at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Pageland, SC.
