Bill T. Anderson

BILL T. ANDERSON, 82, of Weirton, WV, passed Tuesday January 16, 2024 at Wyngate Senior Living Community. He was born April 13, 1941 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late William Oscar Anderson and Mae Estelle Shepherd Anderson. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Gary and David Anderson.

Bill was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church where he met and married his loving wife of 57 years, Sarah Jane Carson Anderson. He was a US Army Veteran in the Security Agency. Bill retired from Weirton Steel Corporation.  He was a lover of animals, especially his dogs, a number of shelties and a miniature schnauzer.

Along with his wife, he is survived by son, Christopher “Kit” Anderson (Mary Beth) of Huntington, WV; grandchildren, William and Sally Anderson; and sister, Donna Durkin (Tom) of Weirton, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Bill’s wishes, there will be no visitation at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton.
