Carl E. Harris

CARL E. HARRIS, 73 of Weirton, WV passed away Tuesday January 16, 2018 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1944 in Jewett, OH. The son of the late John and Virginia Shaw Harris. He was also preceded in death by an infant grandson; sister, Janet Negley; brother, Robert Harris.

Carl was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church; 25 year club of Weirton Steel Corp. Carl retired as the Supervisor of the tin mill pipe shop of Weirton Steel Corp.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Samaras Devore Harris; son, Wayne Edward Harris (Heidi) of Bloomingdale, OH; stepson, John C. Devore of Weirton, WV; daughter, Stephanie Walter of Ely, NV; brother, John "Jack" Harris (Drenda) of Unionport, OH; five grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the funeral at 6:30 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Reverend Tony Thurston will preside. Private interment will be on Thursday at St. Paul Cemetery.
