Carol DiBacco Obituary
CAROL JEAN DiBACCO, 78 of Weirton, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday October 7, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born August 19, 1938 in Washington, PA. The daughter of the late Steve and Irene Mermon Mis. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Teofila McGraw.
Carol was Catholic by faith. She was a former member of the Weirton Hts. VFD Auxiliary. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren and watching them play soccer. She was a "scanner lady" for many years.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Mike J. DiBacco; daughter, Carrie Hardsouk of Weirton, WV; sons, Steven DiBacco (Lynne) of Weirton, WV, John DiBacco (Carol) of Norfolk, VA, Karl DiBacco (Stacy) of Strasburg, OH; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Anna McConaughey of Weirton, WV, Helen Hvizdos (George) of Pittsburgh, PA, Stefana Iannetti (Nick) of Burgettstown, PA, Vonice Carr (Russell) of New London, CT.
Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 & 6-8 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Schuelkens, Jr. presiding. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown, PA.
