Carole L. Long

CAROLE L. LONG, 76, of Weirton, WV, passed away Sunday November 19, 2023 at home. She was born November 14, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Francis and Virginia Morrison Kent. She is also preceded in death by her son, James B. “Jamie” Long, Jr. (2018).

Carole was a member of the First Christian Church and the Women’s Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 2716. Carole worked for many years in data processing at Weirton Steel Corporation.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James Bruce Long; and grandson, Sutton Cole Long.

Visitation will take place Saturday November 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, with Pastor Mark Mayer presiding. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
