Cheryl Louise Delong Robertson

CHERYL LOUISE DELONG ROBERTSON, 62, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Helena, MT, passed Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. She was born March 2, 1962 in Weirton, daughter of the late William C. Delong and Betty L. Shingleton Delong. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby David Robertson (June 2014); brother, James Michael Delong; and uncle, Gary Delong.

Cheryl was a caring woman who fostered many children throughout her lifetime. She received Foster Mother of the Year in Montana for 2 years. She was a fiery soul who loved genealogy and gardening. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Wintersville, OH. She had a love for her church, in which she was very active.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Marie Malinowski; son, Malachi Robertson; grandchildren, Alora Emery and Vincent Scott; sister, Linda DeSanto (late Pete); brothers, John Delong, Terry Stephen Delong (Linda), Rev. Paul Joseph Delong (Connie), and Samuel Carlos Delong (Beth Ann); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Friday, February 21, from 2pm to 5pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 437 Powells Lane, Wintersville, OH, with Bishop Mark Bondietti presiding.
