CHRISTINE P. McFARLAND, 66 of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday April 28, 2018 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born November 30, 1951 in Waynesburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late Carl G. and Virginia Lee Anderson Tharp.
Christine retired from the electronics department of Weirton Steel Corp. with 29 years of employment.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph A. McFarland; son, Eric Jezierski (Jennifer) of Follansbee, WV; sisters, Carol Klakos and Connie Gettinger (James), all of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Alex and Alyssa; brother-in-law, Harry McFarland, Jr.; niece, Lisa McGinty (Shawn); nephew, William Gettinger (Amanda); great nephews, Nicholas and Aidan McGinty, Andrew and Evan Gettinger; special furry friend, Bandit.
Visitation will be Monday April 30, 2018 5:00-8:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 3721 Main Street, Weirton, WV where the funeral and committal services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Larry Barkley presiding. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Valley Hospice, Inc., 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
