Dallas Perkins Obituary
Dallas E. Perkins, 89, of Paris, PA passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1928, the son of the late Archibald and Delpha Perkins.
Dallas is preceded in death by his wife Clara, brother Marvin and son-in-law Pete Lonchar.
He is survived by daughters, Gwen (Tom) Evans, Cathy Lonchar, Cinthia Steineman, Jean Trujillo, and Della (Andrew) Iarossi, all of Weirton, WV; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister Mary Welshans, brothers William T. and Glenn Perkins and his beloved dog Suzie.
Dallas was a member of Paris Church of the Nazarene and Steel Valley Antique Car Club. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Weirton Steel with 42 years of service in the BOP Degasser. He enjoyed woodworking, model trains and restoring his antique cars.
Calling hours Sunday, April 22 from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV 26062; with additional visitation Monday, April 23 from 10 am until time of service at 12 noon at Paris Church of the Nazarene, 9 Long Street, Burgettstown, PA, 15021. Interment along with Military Honors will be at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
