David Marston Obituary
DAVID ARTHUR MARSTON, 57 of Weirton, WV passed away peacefully Wednesday October 12, 2016. He was born December 16, 1958 in Steubenville, OH. The son of the late Arthur W. and Virginia Lucille Dudley Marston.
David was a member of the First Christian Church; a 1977 Brooke high school graduate; graduate of West Liberty College and also Middle Tennessee State University. He held a pilots license and enjoyed flying. His employment included working as a carpenter at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Most recently he was employed by the Hancock County Board of Education as a shop teacher and West Virginia studies teacher at Weir Middle school, a position that he resigned from recently due to complications from lymphoma. For many years he was a basketball referee and very supportive of youth.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sharon Weaver Marston; sister, Marlene Bringardner (Stephen) of Dexter, MI.
Per David's wishes, cremation was selected and there will be no visitation. Private family inurnment and service will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Kevin L. Bowers presiding. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Weirton, WV.
