Dorothy H Tokash

DOROTHY H. TOKASH, 92 of Weirton, WV passed away Wednesday March 1, 2017. She was born March 10, 1924 in Machias, NY. She was the daughter of the late Peter Paul and Sophia Kosakowski Latwin. She was also preceded in death by her husband Peter Paul "Petty" Tokash; sisters, Agnes Brandenburg, Ardis Navage, Vera Levanduski; brothers, John Latwin, Joe Lovin, Louis Lovin.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Church of Weirton. Prior to her marriage, she was employed as a welder on tank transport ships in Ambridge, PA. She also worked for ten years at Ann's Country retreat, until her health prevented her. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She also loved to cook, bake, and sew.

Surviving are her daughters, Janet Yeaman of Charlotte, NC, Dee Dee Landreth (James) of Dandridge, TN, Lisa Colangelo (late Alex) of Weirton, WV, Donna Ross (Edward) of Steubenville, OH, Mary A. McArver of Charlotte, NC; sister, Alyce R. Barto of Slovan, PA; brother, Frank Lovin of McKeesport, PA; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday March 4, 2017 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral/committal services at 12:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV with Pastor Christy Gabis presiding. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
