Edith P. Keenan

EDITH P. KEENAN, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Valley Hospice in Steubenville following a lengthy illness.

​She was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on March 23, 1941.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert Keenan, whom she married on September 5, 1958.  Together, they pastored the Voice of Pentecost Church in Weirton for over 50 years.  She also was the Director of the Haller Park Day Care which was located at the church.  She developed many long-lasting relationships through ministry and the care of many children throughout the years.

​Surviving are 2 sons, Dan Keenan (Barbara) of Cadiz and Randy Keenan (Mamie) of Weirton.  Other survivors include grandchildren Rev. Matthew Keenan (Sarah) of Colliers; Andrew Keenan of Cadiz; Joshua Keenan of Steubenville; and Sarah Marie Keenan of Weirton; and 4 great-grandchildren.

​Visitation for Edith will be held Friday, June 20th from 2-4 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 4 p.m. at the Voice of Pentecost Church, 106 Mendall Street, Weirton, West Virginia.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton.
