Edna Margaret (Tennant) Pearce

EDNA MARGARET TENNANT PEARCE, 93, of Weirton, WV, died peacefully Tuesday March 19, 2024 at Weirton Geriatric Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 13, 1930 in Martins Ferry, OH to the late Lloyd R. and Della Nicholson Tennant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Pearce (1986); her daughter, Tina Walker; a great-grandson, Noah Stewart; a sister, Lois Case; brothers, Edward Tennant, Ronald Doak and David Doak; and son-in-law, Robert Ziemer.

Her pride and joy was her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weirton. She was a past president of Edgewood PTA and enjoyed volunteering with the Baptist Youth Organization with her husband, Bob.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (John) Szczerbinski and Roberta Ziemer; two sons, Jeffrey (Sandra) Pearce and Larry (Lisa) Pearce; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday March 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 3721 Main Street, Weirton. A memorial service will be Saturday April 27 at 11:00 AM, First Baptist Church, Homewood Ave., Weirton, WV. Inurnment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
