Emma Jean Robinson
October 30, 1940 – December 14, 2025
Emma Jean Robinson, born October 30, 1940, in Weirton, West Virginia, to Peter and Mary Blasczak, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 85, with her family by her side. She lived a life defined by love for her family and a quiet strength that carried those around her.
She was the loving wife of the late William “Robbie” Robinson, who preceded her in death in 2011.
She was the mother of Timothy Robinson of Manassas, Virginia, and Sandra Robinson of Weirton, West Virginia. Emma Jean was also a sister to the late Sylvia Lamb (and her husband Dick Lamb) of Palm Beach, Florida, and to Mary Bierach (and her husband Karl Bierach) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
She was the grandmother of Vanessa (Robinson) Weiser (and her husband Mike Weiser) of Culpeper, Virginia, Michael Thermes of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Emily Thermes of Morgantown, West Virginia. She was also the great-grandmother of Gracie Margaret Weiser, daughter of Vanessa and Mike, of Culpeper, Virginia.
Emma Jean retired from Weirton Medical Center, where she worked in the Physical Therapy Department. She had a passion for cooking and was an avid reader. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Her kindness, resilience, and steady presence will be carried forward by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
In keeping with her wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family encourages loved ones to honor her memory in their own way.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton.
