Francis "Red" Murray

FRANCIS "RED" MURRAY, 94 of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday January 21, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. He was born May 29, 1922 in Holliday's Cove, WV. He was the son of the late Joseph A. Murray, Sr. and Mary Ann Haney Murray. He was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Frum Murray; son, Michael Murray; sister, Mary Catherine Murray; brothers, Joseph A., Jr. and John Patrick Murray.

Red was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church; VFW Post No.2716, and a US Army, WW II veteran. He retired from Weirton Steel Corp.

Surviving are his daughters, Patricia Reinard of Weirton, WV, Pamela Sue Harman (Derrick) of New Manchester, WV; son, Robert S. Murray (Vera) of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Charrity Dean (Robert), Rick Reinard, Jennifer Lambert (Eric); 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 24, 2016 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 3721 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Inurnment will be at St. Paul Cemetery.
