George Michael Mamula

GEORGE MICHAEL “MIKE” MAMULA, 66, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Midland, PA, passed Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Valley Hospice in Steubenville, OH. He was born April 18, 1958 in Rochester, PA, son of the late George “Buddy” Mamula and Geraldine “Geri” Doak Mamula.

Mike was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Midland, PA. Mike was a racquetball champion and could often be found competing daily at the racquetball courts in Millsop Community Center. He also had a passion for landscaping and kept an immaculate yard. Mike enjoyed antiques and collectibles. He had a fondness for Russian history. Mike retired from Crucible Steel Company in Midland, PA.

Mike is survived by his brother, Mark Mamula (Dawn) of Clearwater, FL; sister, Kimberly Mamula (Jim Marage) of Burgettstown, PA; and his wonderful neighbors who were there for him when he needed them most.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 11am until 1pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Inurnment will take place at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown, PA. A church service will take place Sunday, March 9 at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland, PA.
