Guy Wagner Obituary
GUY P. WAGNER, 87 of Weirton, WV passed away Friday February 2, 2018 at Valley Hospice, Steubenville, OH. He was born February 4, 1930 in Butler, PA. The son of the late Paul Raymond Wagner and Pearl Gahaghn Wagner. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Wagner; son, Mitchell Garrett Wagner; one brother; two sisters.
Guy attended The Salvation Army/Weirton Corps; a U.S. Army veteran; a member of Weirton Lodge No.171 A.F. & A.M., Osiris Shriners, Weirton Chapter No. 147 O.E.S.; Northern Panhandle Shrine Club, where he assisted with the transportation of children to the Shriner's Hospital in Erie, PA. He retired from the machine shop, as a machinist, at Weirton Steel Corp.
Surviving are his wife of over 67 years, Wanda Pyles Wagner; daughters, Beth Renee Hunter (Michael) of Wendell, NC, Tamara Kay Wagner of Raleigh, NC, Paula Rae Betteridge (Steven) of East Liverpool, OH; son, Vernon Wagner of Palmer, AK; seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday February 5, 2018 from 3:00 until time of the funeral/committal services at 5:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where Major Mike Morton will preside. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
