HARRY F. HORNBECKER, JR., 88 of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday October 28, 2017 at Serra Manor. He was born November 10, 1928 in Monesson, PA. He was the son of the late Harry F. Hornbecker, Sr. and Martha Stevenson Hornbecker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Louise "Betty Lou" Wallace Hornbecker (9-11-2016) and a sister, June Forsberg.
Harry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, WW II, having served as a medic. He retired from Weirton Steel Corp./general office. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his brothers/sisters in laws; John Wallace (Shirley) of Steubenville, OH, William Wallace (Judy) of Weirton, WV, Thomas Salo (Betty) of Evergreen, AL.
At the request of Harry, there will be no isitation. Committal service will be held Tuesday October 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Michael Heckathorn presiding.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3432 West Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
