Harry "Bob/Red" McGranahan

HARRY "BOB/RED" McGRANAHAN, 83 of Weirton, WV passed away Friday August 5, 2016 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born December 11, 1932 in Quiet Dell, PA. The son of the late Hazel Bosworth and Lewis Alonzo McGranahan, and his step mother, Mary Williams McGranahan. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Lewis (1996).

He retired after 41 years from National Steel/Weirton Division in the sheet mill department as an operator. He was also served in the National Guard (Ohio) for 8 years. Harry also drove school bus for Hancock County Schools; mini bus for the Hancock County Sheltered Workshop; worked at Tappan Lake Park.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Donna Davis McGranahan; daughters, Sherry Foster (Charles) of Roanoke, VA, Stephanie Miller of Australia, Kimberly Mack (Tim) of Weirton, WV; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 10, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00 - until time of the funeral/committal at 6:30 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV.
