Howard L. Price, Jr.

Howard L. Price, Jr., 87, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 8, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard L. Price, Sr., and Mary Ellen O'Connor Price, his wife Mildred Irene Price, his grandson Randy Lyons and brother George Price.

Howard was Catholic by faith, and a Veteran of the Air Force Military having served in Vietnam, Korea, and the Panama Canal Zone. He was the recipient of a Bronze Star Medal, two Air Force Commendations, and a Meritorious Service Medal. He was a member of both the V.F.W. Post No. 2716, Weirton, WV, and American Legion Post No. 2716, Weirton, WV. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans as well as the Air Force Association.

Howard is survived by his daughter Laura Lynn Price; sons Steven, Edward (Debbie), and Sean Price; brothers Jimmy and Lynn Price; sisters Madeline (Thomas) Brewer and Linda (Andrew) Luther; grandchildren Christina, Stephanie, Howie, Herbie, Josh, and Mason. Also surviving are five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 3721 Main Street, Weirton, WV, 26062, where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow with military service honors at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
