Janet S. Tomei

JANET S. TOMEI, 71 of Weirton, WV passed away Friday June 17, 2016 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1945 in East Liverpool, OH. She was the daughter of the late Trenton and Mary Holtzman McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Tomei (10-21-2011); sisters, Caroline, Violet, and Kathy.

Janet was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Tina Tomei of Hurricane, WV, LaDonna Tomei of Wheeling, WV; son, Jon Tomei (Susan) of Harrisonburg, VA; grandchildren, Rachel, Joey, and Ben; sisters, Shirley Hamon (Burton) of Ashley, OH, Jeanie Baloga of Burgettstown, PA, Edna Louk of New Manchester, WV, Betty Hawkingsberry (Dave) of Newell, WV; brothers, Trenton "Sonny" McCoy Jr. of Michigan, Clifford McCoy (Patty) of East Liverpool, OH.

Visitation will be Monday June 20, 2016 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, WV with Reverend Larry Dorsch as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
