Jeanette M. LaRosa

JEANETTE M. LaROSA, 80 of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday December 3, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. She was born July 23, 1936 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith Reda Provenzano. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Francis "Frank" James LaRosa (2010); daughter, Renee' Lynn LaRosa (1978); brother, Frank A. Provenzano (1985).

Jeanette was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church; Sons of Italy; Four Seasons Seniors. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, reading, baking, cooking, and going to the track. Life was about her family and friends. She was one of the most compassionate human beings. She thrived on encouraging others.

Surviving are her daughters, Gina Marie LaRosa (Dick H. Gordon) of Charlotte, NC, Sherri Anne LaRosa Grieco of Weirton, WV; son, Francis "Frank" James LaRosa II (Sue) of Union, KY; Nanna to; Kristin Marie Eckels, Kristopher David Eckels, Kasey James Eckels, Alyssa Renne' LaRosa, Francis "Tre" James LaRosa III, Jennifer Renee' Grieco, Maria Nicole Grieco; sister, Rose Marie Tominack (Louis) of Maryland; brother, Rick J. Provenzano (Debra) of New Cumberland, WV; many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday December 5, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV with Reverend Dennis J. Schuelkens, Jr. as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
