John Deemer Obituary

JOHN E. DEEMER, 87, of New Cumberland, WV, passed Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1937, son of the late George and Helen Deemer. He is also preceded in death by his son, Sgt. Jeffrey G. Deemer; and his sisters, Barb Clutter and Patty Lumpp.

John worked for J & L Steel Company in Aliquippa. He was an avid motorcycle rider.

John is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Brenda Deemer; daughter, Linda Kennedy; daughter-in-law, Barb Deemer; grandchildren, Linda Sue Gillespie (Lyle), Kathie Kennedy, Donald Allen Kennedy, Jr., Deborah McNamar (Matthew), Darcy Lynne Deemer and Deanna Joy Deemer; 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Don Deemer (Ginny); and sisters, Jackie Casto and Nancy Timmons (Butch).

Per John’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton.
