John Garrison Obituary
JOHN G. GARRISON, 92 of Weirton, WV passed away Wednesday November 8, 2017 at The Inn at Wyngate, Weirton, WV. He was born January 9, 1925 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late Gilbert L. and Mary Gertrude Fuller Garrison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Freda Chadwick Garrison (2006); sister, Blanche Garrison (2013).
John was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene, Weirton, WV, a US Army, WW II veteran. He was a retired letter carrier from the US Postal Service.
Surviving is his cousin, Martin Boyles of Weirton, WV. Visitation will be Thursday November 9, 2017 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral/committal services at 11:00 a.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Reverend Larry Barkley will preside. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
