June Ann Howell

JUNE ANN HOWELL, 75, of Clinton, PA, formerly of Weirton, WV, passed Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born July 13, 1949, daughter of the late Hubert Earl Toothman and Elizabeth Ann Hartung Toothman. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Shelly Ann Howell Tempalski (2018); son-in-law, Leon Tempalski; siblings, Betty Jean Chenoweth, Robert Earl Toothman, and Paul Toothman; and several nieces and nephews.

June worked for many years in the Blast Furnace of Weirton Steel Corporation. She was a member of VFW Post No. 2716 Women’s Auxiliary. June loved camping and going to the beach, especially Myrtle Beach and Anna Maria Island. Above all else, June loved spending time with her friends and family.

June is survived by her son, Mike Howell (Tonya); grandsons, Connor Howell and SrA. Caleb Howell; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Visitation will take place Monday, November 4, from 2:00pm until time of service at 4:00pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, with Minister Tom Derby presiding. Inurnment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
