Kathleen A. Lokmer

KATHLEEN A. LOKMER, 77, of Weirton, WV, passed Saturday April 27, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born November 27, 1946 in Braddock, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Carmella DiBasilio Ondrey. 
Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She worked for 25 years as a nurse at Weirton Medical Center. Kathleen enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband to Spain, Italy, France and Mexico, among other destinations. Above all else, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Frank Lokmer, Jr.; daughter, Shannon Lokmer-Kelley of Weirton; son, Sean Lokmer (Trish) of Center Point, IA; grandchildren, Patricia, Teague, and Anna; brother, Daniel Ondrey (Dolly) of East Pittsburgh, PA; and sister, Paula Jordan (Tom) of Turtle Creek, PA.
Visitation will take place Tuesday April 30 from 4pm to 7pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10am at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 200 Preston Avenue, Weirton, with Father Gerald Muoka presiding. Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.
