KENNETH M. "MAC" ORR, JR., 86 Of Weirton, WV passed away Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. He was born September 2, 1929 in Monongah, WV. The son of the late Kenneth M. Orr Sr. and Genevieve Josephine Mauller Orr.
He was a member of the Tri-State Church of God who loved his Lord Jesus Christ and was faithful to God, his country and his family at all times. He graduated from Grafton High School where he lettered in football and basketball receiving All-State honors. After high school he went on to Potomac State College. Kenneth was a leader in the Boy Scouts; a deacon at Evangel Baptist Church; full gospel business men's fellowship; a volunteer at the Community Bread Basket. He retired from IUOE Local 132, Wheeling, WV after 40 as a crane operator.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 68 years, Alice Mae "Sis" Stephenson Orr; daughters, Cathy Rotunda(John) of Fairmont, WV, Kimberly Ganoe(Gary) of Hopewell, OH; son, Perry Orr(Anita) of Weirton, WV; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday May 3, 2016 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Tri-State Church of God, 3535 West Street, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Jacobs and Pastor Joshua Martin presiding. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park, Grafton, WV. Arrangements have been entrusted to STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Weirton, WV.
