Larry L. VanHorn

LARRY L. VanHorn, 77 of Weirton, WV passed away Tuesday August 22, 2017 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born July 8, 1940 in Gilmer County, WV. He was the son of the late Roland M. and Oscea Madrid Blackshire VanHorn.

Larry was a member of Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church. He retired from Weirton Steel Corp. fire dept. as an EMT.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Stevens VanHorn; daughter, Lisa Yeater (Eric) of Steubenville, OH; brothers, Lee VanHorn (Elaine), Hoy VanHorn (Judith) all of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Krystal VanHorn, William "Bill" Rutherford, Ashlee Rutherford, Allison Yeater, Matthew Yeater; great grandchildren, A'mya Rutherford, Alenah Thornton.; many nieces/nephews who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be Thursday August 24, 2017 4:00-8:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Drew Bush presiding. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
