Leona Pauline O’Palka

LEONA PAULINE O’PALKA, 95, of Georgetown, PA, passed Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was born April 11, 1929 in Wise County, VA, daughter of the late Elvra Bolling and Margaret Riddle Bolling. She was also preceded in death by husband, Emil Bolling (1976) and husband, John O’Palka (2012); and 8 siblings.

Pauline was a beloved member of Christian House Baptist Chapel in Raccoon Twp., Aliquippa, PA. She loved the Lord, and Southern Gospel Music.  A great example of His love to all, she showered her family and friends with gifts of her own crocheting, sewing, and cooking.  She also loved gardening.  Her flowers and vegetables also became gifts to her friends and family.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Jamison (Robert); sons, Howard Boggs (Margaret), Gary Boggs (Rebecca), and Wayne Boggs (Susan); stepdaughters, Evelyn Martin and Harriett Hawthorne; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Thursday, December 5, from 3pm to 7pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, where the funeral will be held Friday at 11am, with Pastor Tom Knowles presiding. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
