Lewis Merdia Cumblidge

Lewis Merdia Cumblidge, 88, of Burgettstown, PA., passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center of Coraopolis, PA. He was born on May 17, 1927 in St. Marys, WV., a son to the late Alice Brammer and the late Mancil Lewis Cumblidge.On August 23, 1991, Lewis was joined in marriage to Patricia Louise Debnar in High Point,NC.He was employed as a roller in the Tin Mill of the National Steel Corporation.He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and he was a member of the Richard Vaux Lodge 454 of Burgettstown as well as Lewis is preceded in death by his son Richard Lee Cumblidge and his brother Ivan Cumblidge, and his first wife, Regina Warren Cumblidge.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Louise Cumblidge; sons Ralph Lewis Cumblidge of High Point, NC.,and Mark David (Betty Jo) Cumblidge of Burgettstown, PA.; daughters Dana Dell (James) Jennessee of Pataskala,OH., and Judith Lynn Williams of Burgettstown, PA.;his brother Charles (Karen) Cumblidge;sisters Norma Jean (Eugene) Burdette, and Joyce Ann (late husband Sonny) Epsilantis, Jeanette Baxter and Geraldine Starkey. Lewis is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.A celebration of Lewis' life will be held at the convenience of his family.
