Linda Ayers Obituary
Linda G. Ayers, 68,of Weirton, passed away Friday, July 14,2017 at the Summa Akron City Hospital of Akron, OH. She was born December 14,1948 in Steubenville,OH, the daughter of the late James Singelis and the late Eleanor Kushner Singelis. On June 28,1974, Linda was joined in marriage in the Free Methodist Church of Weirton to Ronald Lee Ayers.
Linda was employed for seventeen years as the Event Coordinator of the Weirton Knights of Columbus.
Along with her husband Ronald, Linda is survived by her daughters Erica (Michael) Brown of Charlotte, NC, and Kristen (Chris) Dewitt of Columbus,OH; son Todd Ayers of Weirton,WV; grandchildren Ethan Brown and Monroe Dewitt and expecting a third grandaughter.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at the STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES,INC.,380 PENCO ROAD, WEIRTON,WV 26062, from 4-7 pm.Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Kevin Bowers officiating.Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens,Weirton.
In Lieu of flowers, Linda's family requests that mini rose bushes be sent in her memory.
Donations may be made in honor of Linda to Essex of Tallmadge, 563 Colony Park Drive, Tallmadge, OH, 44278.
