Linda Lee Edwards

Our precious Linda Edwards of Weirton passed away August 8, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center. The Lord must have wanted her in heaven.

She was the wonderful daughter of the late John and Dorothy Edwards. She was born on the Fourth of July in 1958 and she brought a sparkling light to our family. She was a member of the First United Church in Weirton.

Linda enjoyed being with all her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She looked forward to her birthday party every year because we had a family reunion to celebrate it with her.

She loved to travel with her family and eat lunch out every day. She always woke up with a smile and said, “What are we going to do today?”

Linda had a brother, John Edwards, who passed away in 2021.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Nancy Edwards, niece Lori Ogden and her husband Tommy, nephew Brian Edwards and his wife Sonia, sister-in-law Connie Edwards, and several cousins. We all loved her dearly. Rest in Peace Sweetheart!

Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 12, from 4:00 to 7:00pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00am, with Pastor Kyle Ashley presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
