Obituary

Mothers Earthly Journey ended on Sunday, January 8,2017. Louise Mae McDonald was born on Februrary 27,1924 in Masontown,WV, a daughter to the late Alpheus Jenkins and the late Lydia Murray Jenkins. On April 12,1941 she was joined in marriage in Oakland,MD, to Lloyd C. McDonald who passed away on June 22,1982. Louise is also preceded in death by her sisters Sara,Vina, and Genevieve; her brother Thomas; her grandson Brian McDonald and her daughter-in-law Becky McDonald.
She was a member of the Kings Creek Union Chapel of Weirton and was retired from the Dietary Department at Weirton Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Wiseman Jones (Larry) of Zanesville,Oh.; sons David McDonald (Judy) of Columbus,OH, Robert McDonald (Marlene) of Toronto,OH, and James McDonald of Weirton,WV. Also surviving are her sister-in-law Lillie Jenkins of Morgantown,WV, ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 10 at the STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton,WV, 26062 from 5-8 p.m. Additional viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 11 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery, Morgantown, WV, with Pastor Carl Sellard presiding.
