Marjorie Ruth Anderson

MARJORIE RUTH ANDERSON, 94, of Hanover Twp., PA, passed Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born May 5, 1930 in Wayne Twp., Greene County, PA, daughter of the late Russel Husk and Nannie Tharp Husk. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Glen B. Anderson (2022), whom she married on Christmas Day 1953; sisters, Hilda Stoneking and Madolyn Kuhn; brother, Rodney Husk; and grandson-in-law, Delmar Dean.

Marjorie was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church where she served in various positions throughout the years.

Marjorie is survived by her loving children, Glenda Virtue (Jack), Gerald Anderson (Cindy), Gordon Anderson (Betsy), and Gloria Kimball (Delbert); grandchildren, Marcie Dean, Ashley Virtue, Michelle Wertelet, Michael Anderson, Levi Anderson, William Martin, Melissa Martin-Ryan, Amanda Woodland, and Kara Gabriel; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Connie Husk; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Sunday, November 17 from 6pm to 8pm, with additional visitation Monday from 10am until time of the service at 11am, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, with Pastor Nadia Stropich presiding. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Burgettstown, PA.
