Mark Charles Merenda

Mark Charles Merenda, 53, resident of New York City and former resident of Weirton, WV., passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Lennox Hill Hospital, New York. He was born on September 15, 1962, a son to Lois Mary (Costello) Merenda and Joseph Anthony Merenda. Mark was a 1980 graduate of Weir High School and also a graduate of Tulane University in Louisiana where he earned a four year Bachelor Degree. He was employed as a sales manager.Mark is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Anthony Merenda. He is survived by his mother, Lois Merenda; sister Beverly Kay (Larry) Nida of Coroapolis, PA.; brother Joseph Merenda of Georgetown, PA.; nieces Autumn (Dennis) Merenda-Farmer and Stefanie Merenda and nephew Joey Merenda. Private services will be held at the convenience of Mark's family.Arrangements have been entrusted to STEEL AND WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES,INC.,Weirton,WV.
