Marlene Conrad Stewart

MARLENE CONRAD STEWART, 86 of Calcutta, OH passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 at Calcutta Health Care Center, Calcutta, OH. She was born February 20, 1931 in Braxton County, WV. She was the daughter of the late Homer O. and Lola Ratliff Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Conrad (7-5-2003); brothers, Jack and James Smith.

Marlene was an active member through the years at Kings Creek Union Chapel where she was also involved in the ladies aid society.

Surviving are her daughter, Debbie Ford (Mitchell) of New Cumberland, WV; brother, Gail Smith of Long Beach, CA; sister, Luella Strader of Hopewell Twp., PA; sister-in-law, Linda Smith of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Joshua Ford (Jenna), Amy Chaney (Patrick); great grandchildren, Jackson, Nicholas, Brady, Ruby, Lucy, Ben.

Visitation will be Thursday December 7, 2017 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV from 4:00 p.m. until time of the funeral/committal services at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Kara Rowe presiding. Interment will be Friday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
