Martha V. Frontone

MARTHA V. FRONTONE, 87 of Weirton, WV formerly of Wellsville, OH passed away Sunday September 17, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH. She was born October 14, 1929 in Chester, WV. She was the daughter of the late William Lord Wedgwood and Grace Virginia Merriman Wedgwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Patsy James Frontone (2009); brother, William Wedgwood, Jr.

Martha was very active at Freedom Place with the tenants association. She was also responsible with organizing the library at Freedom Place.

Surviving are her daughters, Susan Avery, Debra Williams (Greg), all of Weirton, WV; sister, Nancy Eddy of Medina, OH; grandchildren, Jason Avery, Eric Avery, Matthew Avery (Samantha), Joshua Williams (Carolyn); great grandchildren, James Avery, Michael Avery, Riley Williams, Ethan Williams.

Visitation will be Thursday September 21, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral/committal services at 11:00 a.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Pastor Sean Wightman will preside. Interment will be at Saint Elizabeth's Cemetery, Wellsville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
