Martha E. Highley

MARTHA E. HIGHLEY, 96, of Weirton, WV, passed Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee. She was born August 17, 1928 in Clarington, OH, daughter of the late James and Alice Haslam McIntire. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Highley (2011); and siblings, Florence, Harry, Ray, Charles, George, Roy and Dale.

Martha was a waitress at Frank’s Bar and Grill for many years. She enjoyed Country Western Music and was a member of the Spinning Gears Square Dancing Group of Weirton.

Martha is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol McIntire; several nieces and nephews; great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and her beloved dog, Cuddles.

Visitation will be Friday, April 18, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 3721 Main Street, Weirton. Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
