Mary Ann Grimm

MARY ANN GRIMM, 83, of Weirton, WV passed Monday February 19, 2024 at Brightwood Center. She was born October 28, 1940 in Buckhannon, WV, daughter of the late Wilbert and Othella Harris Wentz. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, James C. Grimm (2013); son, Derrick Scott Grimm (1981); sister, Karen Freshwater; and brothers, Allen, Ralph, Gary and Dallas Wentz.

Mary Ann was a member of Mercy Baptist Church.

Mary Ann is survived by daughter, Tambrla “Tammy” Rae Murdock; son, James C. Grimm, Jr; grandchildren, Nicole Murdock (fiancé Jack Johnson), Brian Murdock, and Heather Grimm; great-granddaughter, Amariah Johnson; sisters, Nina Clark, Nila Pitcock, and Nita Eannottie; and brother, Neil Wentz.

Visitation will take place Thursday February 22 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, where the funeral will be held Friday at 11 AM with Pastor James Rhodes presiding. Interment will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery.
