Mary Alice Rexroad

MARY ALICE REXROAD, 88 of Weirton, WV took her last breath on earth, and her first breath in heaven on Tuesday March 13, 2018, at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born June 8, 1929 in Buckhannon, WV. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Rollins and Blanche Elizabeth McQuain Rollins. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Evans, three sisters and two brothers.

Mary Alice was a member of The First Church of God, Colliers, WV and attended Kings Creek Union Chapel; 50+ member of Star of the Valley Rebekah Lodge No.73; Morning Glory Twig card club. She loved to play cards and she was a devoted mother and homemaker to her children. She retired from the former Thrift Drug Company, Weirton location.

Surviving are her husband of over 70 years, William Howard Rexroad; daughter, Louanne Molchan (Paul) of New Cumberland, WV; sons, John Robert "Bob" Rexroad of Irondale, OH, William Edward "Bill" Rexroad (Randi) of Anderson, SC; sister, Patty Ann Griffith of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Chad Evans, Erin Hinson, Neeley Taylor, Billie Okey; eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday March 15, 2018 3:00-6:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral and committal services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Gault and Pastor Jess Keenan presiding. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
