Mary G. Thomas

MARY G. THOMAS, 95, of Weirton, WV, passed Saturday, September 20, 2025 at home. She was born October 23, 1929 in Weirton, daughter of the late Michael and Teresa Stefano Gerevich. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth R. Thomas (2003); brother, Steve Gerevich; sisters, Helen Rastelli, Margaret Ticich and Teresa Ewaskey; a great grandson and a great granddaughter.

Mary was a member of Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church. She loved reading her bible, gardening and caring for animals.

Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Debra A. Thomas and Sandra E. Thomas Nicosia (Robert); grandson, Michael Aaron Nicosia (Emily); great grandson, Michael Shaun Nicosia; 3 nieces; and her 2 beloved cats.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 23 from 11:00am to 12:00 Noon, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Committal service and interment will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery, Wellsville, OH, with Rev. Bill Stout presiding.
