Maryann “Mitzie” Dahle

MARYANN “MITZIE” DAHLE, 88, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Oakdale, PA, passed Friday, September 12, 2025 at home. She was born March 24, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline O’Block Fuhrer.  

Mitzie is survived by her daughters, Donna Horton (William), Becky Englert (late Bernie), Diane Wentz (Kenny), and Maryann Dahle (Rick Altmeyer); 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Jean Schmaltz; and sister-in-law, Lida Fuhrer, brother-in-law Robert Dahle (Sue) and many nieces and nephews.

Mitzie is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Donald K. Dahle (2010); brothers, Joseph Fuhrer and Edward Fuhrer (late Genevieve); sister, Jacqueline Morgan (late Ray); and sister and brother-in law Shirley and Robert Sterling and Kate and Robert Niesslein. 

Per Mitzie's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton. Private graveside service and inurnment will be next to her beloved Donald, at Chartiers Cemetery, Carnegie, PA.
