Mattie Kimble Obituary
Mattie D. Kimble,92,of Weirton,passed away Tuesday,May 2,2017 at Trinity Medical Center West,Steubenville,OH.She was born in Glover Gap,WV.,on February 27,1925, a daughter of William Mayne and Mary Glover Mayne.On February 28,1948 she was joined in marriage to Floyd Kimble.
Mattie was retired from the G.C. Murphy department store as a sales clerk.She was a member of the Weirton First United Methodist Church and a member of the Star of the Valley Rebekah Lodge No. 73 in Weirton.
Along with her parents, Mattie is preceded in death by her husband Floyd;brothers Ralph,Ray,Laurence,George and Edward Mayne and sisters Ruth Kull,Elizabeth Troy,and Lillian Clovis.
She is survived by several nieces,nephews,great neices,great nephews,great great nieces and great great nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday,May 5,2017 at the STEEL AND WOLFE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES,Inc.,380 Penco Road,Weirton,WV.,26062 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral/commital service at 12 noon.Pastor Carol McKay will officiate.
