MERREL MARIE SLACK, 74, of Weirton, WV passed Sunday March 24, 2024 at home. She was born July 23, 1949 in Smithfield, OH, daughter of the late John and Lenora Roe Gunn. She is also preceded in death by brother, John Gunn; and sister, Pam Sheets.
Merrel is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David Slack; daughter, Stacy Riggs (Brandon) of Weirton; son, Michael Slack of Weirton; grandchildren, Kraven, Syler, and Mason; brother, Kenny Gunn (Carole); and sisters, Glenda King and Hope Riggs (Denny).
Per Merrel's wishes, there will be no visitation at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton.
