MILDRED “MILLIE” I. KUSH, 85, of Weirton, WV, passed Friday, January 24, 2025. She was born November 16, 1939 in West Union, WV, daughter of the late Charles and Beulah Kimball Zeigler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Walter F. Kush (Dec. 2021); and three brothers, Jackson, Charles and Raymond.
She was a loving mother to her five children, Karla Pike (Stephen), Larry Kush (Scot Elliot), Thomas Kush (Diana), Charlie Kush (Lisa), and Patrick Kush (Amber).
She took great pride in her 13 grandchildren and adored her 10 great-grandchildren, with 2 more joining the family later this year. She is also survived by sisters, Marcelene Swentzel, Edna Dettman, and Patsy Zeigler; brothers, Bill Zeigler and Tom Zeigler; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Monday, January 27 from 3pm to 6pm, at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, where the funeral will take place Tuesday at 10:30am with Rev. Craig Greathouse presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
