Nelda Lowther Obituary
NELDA S. LOWTHER, 70 of Weirton, WV passed way Wednesday February 22, 2017 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born April 20, 1946 in Doddridge County, WV. She was the daughter of the late Elza Dale and Velma Mariah Gaskins Tate. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Steven Lowther, and her brother, Duane Tate.
Surviving are her stepmother, Lula Belle Yeater Tate; daughter, Sue Ellen Burns; brother Jim Tate (Sue); grandchildren, Davion and Alisha, all of Weirton, WV.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday February 23, 2017 at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral/committal services will be held Fridayat 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Rhodes presiding. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
